The tongue shown above has been replaced by a small, white, nubby protrusion in her lower gum. It is hard to tell if she is actually teething or not because she constantly sticks out her tongue. When her tongue isn't out, it is guarding the view to her lower gum. But my extensive medical training and slobbery finger tell me that it looks like a tooth is on the way in. Combined with the fact that she is chomping a lot and bit me last night, we have a pretty good case for a tooth. We'll find out more today as she goes in for her 6 month check-up and shots! Tomorrow is her cardiology check-up to check on her holes in her heart. Then she'll have 1 more shot to get and be done for the year.
